Job description

Company Overview

Deloitte is seeking a Lead in UKG Workforce Management (Kronos) to support its Consulting and Human Capital practice. The role sits within a team focused on improving how organisations manage work, workforce, and workplace dynamics. You will be part of a collaborative environment centred on curiosity, care, contribution, and creating meaningful impact for clients and communities.

Role Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for optimising and sustaining UKG Pro Workforce Management environments across areas such as Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals, Attendance, Activities, and Analytics. The work requires a strategic approach to designing sustainment solutions that fit the wider technology landscape, including upstream and downstream systems.

You will contribute across the complete lifecycle of UKG Pro WFM engagements, including business analysis, configuration, design, testing, enhancements, and performance improvement. The role also involves working with clients in the public sector, consumer, and manufacturing industries, while collaborating with Deloitte’s global UKG practice to apply best practices locally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and ongoing sustainment of UKG Pro WFM solutions across multiple modules, including Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, Accruals, Attestation, Activities, and Analytics.
  • Create sustainment approaches that align with the client’s full technology environment.
  • Ensure consistency across integrations, data flows, reporting, and related systems.
  • Lead business analysis, configuration, solution design, and testing for UKG Pro WFM implementations and improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the platform and improve both user experience and system performance.
  • Contribute to integration planning, reporting and analytics discussions, and design workshops.
  • Run requirement-gathering sessions, facilitate client discussions, and help shape practical solutions.
  • Work with teams and clients across public sector, consumer, and manufacturing settings.
  • Coordinate with the global UKG network to apply proven methods and delivery approaches.
  • Review team output, guide analysts and consultants, and maintain delivery quality.
  • Spot project risks or issues early and recommend sustainable ways to resolve them.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings strong UKG Pro WFM expertise and at least 5 years of experience leading end-to-end UKG Pro WFM implementations. You should combine functional consulting ability, solution architecture thinking, and client-facing leadership to support workforce transformation initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Hands-on experience across the full UKG Pro WFM project lifecycle, including analysis, configuration, design, testing, and optimisation.
  • Background in professional services, consulting, or a similarly complex corporate setting is an advantage.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and requirements-gathering ability, with the skill to turn business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and provide commercially sound advice to stakeholders.
  • Project leadership and problem-solving capability, including team oversight and structured delivery planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical and functional topics clearly.
  • A curious, critical mindset with the confidence to question assumptions thoughtfully and contribute new ideas.
