Job Purpose
The Lead - Interiors Finishes role will oversee Adani Airports’ interior design projects across various developments including terminal buildings, cityside developments, and ATC complexes. The role demands extensive expertise in large-scale airport terminal interiors to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality designs that elevate passenger experience and operational efficiency throughout all design phases from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects for hospitality-driven mixed-use developments, business parks, and retail environments.
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to realize successful design implementations.
- Provide strategic and creative design direction to enhance functional and aesthetic project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulatory mandates, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Optimize design costs while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Manage and mentor junior designers and architects, cultivating a productive and collaborative team culture.
- Conduct site inspections and participate in project meetings to resolve design challenges.
- Drive continual improvements in design methodologies and standardize processes and SOPs across projects.
- Guide interior design across all project stages, aligning with consultant inputs and asset requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institute is mandatory; Master’s in Architecture is preferred.
- 15 to 18 years of professional experience specifically in interior design within hospitality projects, retail malls, and mixed-use developments.
- Proven leadership in managing full project life cycles from concept through on-site execution.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication skills, and detail-oriented problem-solving abilities.
- Competence with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, building techniques, and sustainable design practices.
- Experience executing interiors for hotels and retail malls with at least one end-to-end project cycle.
Additional Information
No mandatory certifications are required, though relevant interior design qualifications are advantageous.
