Job description
Overview
The Lead Analyst - General Ledger will manage and record transactions within the accounting and ERP systems, ensuring accurate financial data processing and compliance with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Record accounting transactions accurately in the ERP system.
- Compile data and generate financial reports.
- Maintain compliance with invoice accounting controls and support both internal and external audits.
- Engage in process automation initiatives related to accounting workflows.
- Initiate and process journal entries across various accounts.
- Ensure proper integration of accounting system interfaces.
- Manage Accounts Payable tasks such as executing payment runs, reviewing open purchase orders, receipts, and unapproved invoices, as well as controlling travel and expense payments.
- Handle Accounts Receivable by preparing client invoices with moderate to high complexity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and journal entries.
- Familiarity with SAP and Blackline systems is advantageous.
