Job description
Role overview
BITMAIN is seeking a Layout Engineer in Singapore to plan and design analog and mixed-signal circuit layouts. The role also covers layout verification, collaboration with circuit designers, and the upkeep of technical records.
Core responsibilities
- Develop floorplans and layout solutions for analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.
- Carry out layout verification work independently, including DRC, LVS, ERC, and related checks.
- Coordinate with analog circuit design engineers to improve communication flow and refine layout quality.
- Create, organize, and keep up to date the technical documents connected to the work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in IC layout design.
- Comfortable working on Linux-based systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of verification tools such as Cadence and Calibre.
- Experience with 8 nm or smaller process nodes is preferred.
- SRAM layout experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication ability and a collaborative mindset.
