Role overview

This contract Law Clerk role focuses on commercial real estate and energy-related document review for remote work. The assignment supports power generation projects on the US East Coast and involves a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

What you'll do

  • Examine commercial real estate papers, site control agreements, and title records connected to power generation developments.
  • Pull out and organize important data points, especially those related to land-use rights and proof of ownership.
  • Spot, record, and classify supporting evidence for land-use compliance, along with any gaps or weaknesses in the legal paperwork.
  • Work with a multi-stage review team to help maintain accuracy during the first pass and final reconciliation.
  • Help build benchmark datasets that are used to test and refine AI-based document review systems.
  • Share findings clearly in both written and spoken form, with a strong focus on precision and readability.

What we are looking for

  • Background in commercial real estate law, especially for large infrastructure or power generation projects.
  • Strong understanding of title, ownership, and land-use rights documents used in complex development work.
  • Practical experience handling document review, extracting data, and identifying legal issues or risk indicators.
  • Very careful approach to detail and a consistent standard of accuracy in structured data work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
