Laundry Aide - Full Time and Part Time

Role Overview

This position involves handling laundry operations, including cleaning linens and ensuring they are properly sorted and delivered to clients.

Key Duties

• Sort, wash, and dry linens according to the approved laundry process.
• Fold, count, and arrange linens in line with the required procedures.
• Gather soiled linens and distribute cleaned linens where needed.
• Move clean and dirty linen supplies to the correct storage and collection points.
• Check linens regularly for damage and follow the standard process for items that are worn or torn.
• Keep commercial and residential laundry areas tidy, organized, and sanitary.

Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry, or a similar mix of training and experience, is considered an advantage.
• Ability to understand and follow both written and spoken instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, linen presses, and clothing labelers.
• Self-driven and able to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing the duties required by the role.
