Role Overview

This position entails supervising daily operations at the hub, managing dispatches, tracking key performance indicators, and maintaining service quality aligned with Bosta's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt of incoming dispatches from central sorting and organize shipments by delivery zones or routes.
• Create and communicate daily distribution strategies for order allocation to assigned drivers.
• Act as the main contact for drivers, providing immediate assistance to resolve operational challenges and ensure route fulfillment.
• Oversee end-of-day procedures including collecting orders and documentation from drivers after route completion.
• Audit and monitor drivers' cash wallets to guarantee prompt settlements, escalating any discrepancies to the fleet management team.
• Lead training and mentoring for temporary staff and junior coordinators on standard operations and best practices.
• Continuously analyze workflows to identify and introduce processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage inventory by arranging return transfers of canceled orders back to the sorting facility after holding them at the hub beyond 24 hours.
• Facilitate smooth handovers by preparing and sending detailed reports to the sorting facility regarding shipment transfers including counts, seal numbers, tracking info, and statuses.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience in logistics or shipping coordination, particularly with large or bulky shipments.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to inspire and foster teamwork in a positive environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and drivers.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities to address and resolve issues quickly.
• Familiarity with shipping management software and order tracking platforms.
• Adaptability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced operational setting.
