NewJaisa Technologies Private Limited is a prominent refurbished IT device company in India, focused on large-scale refurbishment of laptops, desktops, and IT hardware. The company employs over 300 people and generates annual revenue exceeding 100 crore INR, operating from a modern 50,000 square feet refurbishment facility.
Job Location and Working Hours
The position is based in Arekere, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The work schedule is from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, six days a week, with Sundays off.
Program and Training
This role is geared towards fresh engineering graduates, diploma holders, and ITI graduates. Selected candidates will undergo a 2-month training phase followed by a 1-year apprenticeship. Successful completion offers a chance of full-time employment. Monthly stipend during training and apprenticeship depends on qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech graduates: ₹21000
- Diploma holders: ₹18500
- ITI graduates: ₹18000
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The technician will engage directly with laptops and desktops in the refurbishment plant, focusing on tasks like assembly, disassembly, cleaning, hardware replacements, software installations, and thorough quality checks. The role involves:
- Disassembling and reassembling laptops and desktops
- Conducting hardware cleaning and refurbishment
- Replacing components such as RAM, SSD, keyboard, battery, display, speaker, fan, and adapters
- Performing hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Installing operating systems and necessary drivers
- Testing functionality of ports, display, webcam, audio, keyboard, Wi-Fi, and battery
- Checking BIOS and executing firmware-related updates
- Applying thermal paste and servicing cooling systems
- Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for refurbishment and quality assurance
- Handling screws, connectors, flex cables, and other electronic parts properly
- Committing to maintaining quality, productivity, and process discipline
- Updating system status within ERP or software tools
