Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in East Godavari involves managing and optimizing LabWare LIMS systems to streamline laboratory operations, data handling, and regulatory compliance. The role requires partnering with laboratory personnel to collect and analyze requirements, configuring the LIMS platform accordingly, and conducting thorough system testing and validation. Continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of system issues are essential, alongside working with interdisciplinary teams to implement improvements for system stability. Supporting user education, preparing documentation such as user manuals and SOPs, and ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory guidelines are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and administer LabWare LIMS to facilitate laboratory workflows and data management.
- Engage with laboratory stakeholders to solicit and clarify system requirements.
- Develop functional specifications from collected business and technical needs and implement them into the LIMS environment.
- Perform software testing, validation exercises, and troubleshooting in compliance-regulated contexts.
- Monitor system performance and address technical issues to maintain operational reliability.
- Produce technical and validation documentation to support compliance and user understanding.
- Conduct training sessions and develop user guides and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory professionals, IT teams, and project stakeholders to ensure synergy on LIMS-related activities.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive experience with LabWare LIMS or equivalent laboratory information management tools including configuration and system administration.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes and workflows within pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or manufacturing sectors, emphasizing quality and regulatory adherence.
- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate requirements into functional LIMS solutions.
- Strong skills in software validation, testing, troubleshooting in laboratory-regulated environments, and producing related documentation.
- Understanding of database structures, scripting/configuration languages, and integration principles among enterprise systems and LIMS.
- Excellent communication skills suited to collaboration with diverse teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Life Sciences, Engineering, or closely related disciplines; relevant certifications or formal LabWare training is advantageous.
- Prior experience in large IT services or consulting firms is preferred, with an eagerness to adopt new tools and adhere to standardized processes.
