About the Role
Join our dedicated team producing premium branded products geared towards health and well-being. Our expertise lies in highly sensitive applications, particularly eye care, where we lead European markets with hyaluronic acid-based eye drops. Leveraging this know-how, we are expanding our skin care line with the same commitment to hyaluronic acid, compatibility, and pharmaceutical quality.
As a Lab Technician focusing on Cosmetic Formulation Development for our Skin Care Business Unit in Saarbrücken, you will engage in diverse and responsible tasks within a supportive, team-oriented, and welcoming work atmosphere. We are growing and looking for candidates to join us on a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formulating and refining cosmetic recipes, variants, and product samples.
- Contribute to improvements in sensory attributes, stability, and application qualities.
- Execute, analyze, and document formulation experiments and development trials.
- Assist in screening and evaluating raw and active ingredients.
- Serve as a liaison for laboratory test data, aiding scale-up processes and coordinating with internal and external partners.
- Support documentation of testing procedures and results, as well as managing raw materials, lab consumables, and laboratory workflows.
- Adhere strictly to quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training as Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), CTA, PTA or equivalent.
- Experience in development, formulation, and testing of cosmetic products, including emulsions, serums, gels, and skin care items.
- Familiarity with cosmetic raw materials and their functional properties.
- Competence in laboratory analytics such as pH, viscosity, density, conductivity, sensory evaluation, and experience with stability testing and packaging compatibility.
- Strong quality awareness, reliability, and adherence to SOPs, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written.
