Lab Analyst I

Main Purpose of the Role

This position seeks an experienced para-professional who operates with minimal supervision within the Laboratory Technician sub-function. The role demands practical application of specialized knowledge and skills tailored to specific laboratory needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized expertise to perform diverse technical tasks, including the preparation of routine solutions and reagents, as well as routine chemical reactions.
• Document and monitor experimental observations diligently.
• Carry out straightforward calculations related to laboratory procedures.
• Gather and organize data for thorough evaluation.
• Support laboratory operations by managing supplies and equipment, including stocking, distribution, setup, takedown, cleaning, and storage of glassware.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards through meticulous technical tasks and record maintenance to uphold quality and accuracy.
• Possibly conduct compound analysis and oversee corporate compound inventories.
• Engage in technical procedures in areas such as Production, Research and Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and Compliance/Environmental sectors.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Technical Diploma equivalent to approximately 12 years of formal education and have at least one year of relevant experience.
