KOT Executive / KOT Operator

Role Overview

The KOT Executive or KOT Operator will be responsible for handling customer orders efficiently by using the POS/KOT system. This role involves ensuring the smooth flow of orders to the kitchen and coordinating with various teams to deliver timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and input customer orders through the POS/KOT system.
• Create KOTs and route orders correctly to designated kitchen sections.
• Work closely with Kitchen, Service, and Delivery teams to ensure orders are prepared on time.
• Track and manage pending, delayed, or cancelled orders effectively.
• Verify all order details, including modifications, special instructions, and quantities.
• Ensure KOT entries are precise to minimize order errors and reduce food wastage.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager or Chef to prioritize orders appropriately.
• Handle multiple types of orders such as dine-in, takeaway, and online orders.
• Maintain clear communication between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Report any system malfunctions, billing issues, or order discrepancies to management promptly.
• Adhere strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and operational guidelines.
• Work in shifts of 12 hours duration.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
• Strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under peak hour pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• General knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Previous experience working in restaurants or handling KOT/POS systems is an advantage.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration offered ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 20,000.

Working Hours

The role requires the candidate to work 12-hour shifts.
