The K Club is hiring an experienced Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to support its culinary team at The Palmer Restaurant. Key duties

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and presentable throughout service and after service ends.
• Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house spaces and staff areas.
• Work to the required hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times in line with HACCP requirements.
• Handle busy periods and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Remain adaptable with working hours as needed.
• Take part in any training provided by the company.

Experience and qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is required.
• A full driving licence is needed for this position.
• Own transport is necessary because the role is split across two clubhouses.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are important.
• The ability to learn quickly and stay effective in a fast-paced setting is expected.
• Consistent attention to cleanliness and standards is essential.
