Role overview

Burford Garden Co. is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join its lively café team in Shilton, England. This position supports the kitchen and pot-wash operation in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth day-to-day service.

Key duties

• Operate a heavy-duty commercial dishwasher to clean cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils to the expected standard.
• Keep the pot-wash area clean and orderly, carrying out general cleaning tasks as needed.
• Remove kitchen waste and take it to the designated disposal area.

Previous experience is not required, as full training will be provided. What matters most is a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a busy, high-energy setting while working well with others.

Working pattern

The shift pattern runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Sunday shifts from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. The rota follows a two-week rolling schedule, including every other weekend and one consistent weekday off.
