Open throughout the year every day, it serves a range of meals from breakfast to dinner, focusing on European classics with a strong emphasis on British ingredients. The restaurant is part of The Oxford Collection, a privately owned group that includes luxury hotels and various dining venues in central Oxford.

Role Overview

We seek a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team led by Head Chef Rohan Kashid. This role requires maintaining kitchen hygiene and equipment to support chefs during service, managing deliveries, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and dry cooking utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment, returning them to the correct storage locations promptly to aid efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries when requested.
• Adhere strictly to health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including COSHH and HACCP standards, in line with company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar restaurant roles is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Eligibility to legally work in the UK and availability of two references upon request.

Working Hours and Compensation

We offer a balanced 40-hour workweek with a Monday to Sunday rota and two days off. Part-time schedules may be considered. The remuneration includes an on-target earning (OTE) up to £15.26 per hour, equating to approximately £31,741 annually based on 40 hours weekly, inclusive of a non-contractual tronc (service charge).
