About the Role
We are inviting enthusiastic, energetic individuals to become part of our dedicated kitchen team at Manchester Airport. No prior experience is needed; what matters most is a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to remain composed in busy situations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and close down the potwash area, ensuring all equipment is washed, clean, and ready for use throughout shifts.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene protocols including dishwashing, grease control, and hand hygiene.
- Clean, polish, and store cutlery properly.
- Handle waste disposal, recycling tasks, and manage receipt and storage of deliveries efficiently.
- Rotate stock, keep fridges, freezers, and storage zones clean and organized.
- Carry out defrosting, food prep, and general cleaning, always following a clean-as-you-go policy.
- Maintain excellent standards of food storage safety and overall kitchen cleanliness.
Work Environment and Schedule
Our pubs operate from early morning until late at night, offering flexible shifts that cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes to suit your availability. Typical hours are 37.5 per week with flexible daily schedules.
