RH Hospitality is growing its international restaurant portfolio across RH Design Galleries. The team aims to create a seamless connection between home and hospitality, delivering a guest experience that feels immersed in the RH lifestyle.
RH is hiring a Kitchen Porter to help keep day-to-day kitchen operations running smoothly and to maintain the high standards associated with RH Hospitality. This person should care deeply about consistency, cleanliness, and supporting a polished culinary environment.
In this role, you will help ensure the kitchen remains organized, sanitary, and efficient so the culinary team can focus on delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a spotless and orderly kitchen by keeping the dish area, ingredient storage, waste collection zones, and back-of-house spaces clean and well organized.
- Wash and sanitize plateware, glassware, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen tools thoroughly and efficiently to support smooth service.
- Develop a working understanding of menu items and ingredients so you can provide better operational support.
- Work closely with team members and leaders to assist with food preparation, stock organization, and other cleaning duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a busy, full-service culinary setting.
- Working knowledge of food safety practices.
- Must be legally allowed to work in the country where the application is submitted.
- Must satisfy the minimum legal age requirements for alcohol service, certain shifts, and the full range of kitchen duties, in line with local labor and safety laws.
- Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
Physical demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg, using the correct equipment and safe handling methods.
- Comfortable with long periods of standing and walking.
- Strong commitment to safety and sanitation in a commercial kitchen.
