Job description

Role overview

We are seeking a Face-to-Face Fundraising Ambassador to represent Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in local communities across Ireland. In this position, you will speak with people in residential neighbourhoods, explain the impact of MSF’s medical work, and encourage long-term donations that help deliver vital care where it is urgently needed.

This opportunity is available nationwide.

Please note that a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this role.

Prior experience is not necessary, as full training is provided from the start.

What you will do

  • Approach and speak with members of the public in residential areas.
  • Present MSF’s mission in a confident, professional, and engaging way.
  • Secure supporters for ongoing donations that help fund life-saving work.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a positive, energetic outdoor team.

Who this role suits

  • People who are comfortable starting conversations and communicating warmly.
  • Candidates who are happy to work outdoors and spend time on their feet.
  • Dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working toward goals.
  • Those who want meaningful work with a strong community focus.
  • Applicants who hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Pay and benefits

  • Monthly base pay of €2,166.67 to €2,250.00 gross.
  • Commission is uncapped, so earnings can rise with performance.
  • Paid training and onboarding are provided, with industry-leading support alongside major Irish charities.
  • There are progression pathways, including leadership development and self-development training.
  • Fridays may be taken off once weekly targets are achieved.
  • You will receive supportive management, coaching, and a strong team environment.

Working pattern

The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule with variable hours depending on the site and campaign. Typical summer shifts run from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A 1-hour lunch break is included.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
