About the Role

Join the Holiday Inn Bristol - Filton kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter, playing a vital role in ensuring kitchen operations are efficient, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils thoroughly and swiftly
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and organisation in all kitchen areas during shifts
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and handle waste and recycling responsibly
• Assist with simple food prep tasks like peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive, verify, and correctly store food and kitchen supply deliveries
• Help with kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Clean cooking appliances and work surfaces to meet hygiene standards
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols consistently
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen service
• Promptly report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues
