Job description
About the role
In this position, you take on the role of a parent in a village-style family home and offer children who cannot grow up with their own families a stable, caring environment. You live with your family in one of the spacious houses and help shape everyday family life for up to seven children who require intensive support under German child and youth welfare regulations (SGB VIII). A separate private area within the house ensures that your family has space to withdraw on days off.
What the job involves
You and your family move into one of the homes and gradually welcome children into the household. Each child has a room of their own. Together with the organization, you help select the children you will accompany and support as they grow. The role is assisted by educators and a domestic helper. It is a long-term, permanent employment relationship with social insurance coverage.

- Support from a committed association that takes employees' needs seriously
- Working culture shaped by humor, honesty, and mutual understanding

What you should bring
You should have a high sense of responsibility and ideally experience working in residential settings for children and young people. A valid Class B driving licence is required. At least one parent in the household must have a pedagogical qualification.
Application notes

Interested candidates can request more information by phone or in a personal informational meeting. If you are currently employed elsewhere and considering a change, your application will be handled confidentially.
