Role Overview
As a Kids Club Attendant, you will help deliver a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for children staying at the resort. The role focuses on creating a welcoming space where young guests can participate in activities, learn through play, and be supervised with care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate games, activities, and learning experiences for children.
- Keep the Kids Club area tidy, secure, and pleasant for all young guests.
- Closely monitor children during activities and maintain constant awareness of safety.
- Work alongside Kids Club Counselors to carry out daily routines and special programs.
- Communicate politely and effectively with children, parents, and guardians, while responding to their questions or concerns.
- Track attendance accurately and follow proper sign-in and sign-out procedures.
- Help ensure toys, equipment, and supplies are handled and maintained correctly.
- Encourage an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere that reflects Abu Dhabi’s multicultural setting.
- Act quickly and appropriately in case of emergencies or incidents, following established procedures.
- Contribute to team discussions and offer suggestions to improve the overall Kids Club experience.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, organized, and genuinely interested in working with children. You should be comfortable in a busy, active environment and able to balance supervision, communication, and practical tasks with care and professionalism.
Requirements
- Prior experience in childcare, camps, or recreation-based settings is preferred.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping standards to help maintain a clean and safe space.
- Strong interest in caring for children and creating positive experiences for them.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Basic understanding of child safety, with CPR and first-aid certification preferred.
- Good organizational ability and close attention to detail.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a changing environment.
- Fluency in English and Russian is required; other languages are an advantage.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
- Physical fitness to participate in active supervision and play.
