What the role involves

The Key Worker will support NDIS participants, especially children aged 0 to 8, along with their families, to achieve meaningful and positive outcomes. A strong commitment to appointments before and after school is important, as these are the most requested times for therapy delivery.

The work is varied and may include delivering therapy in homes, schools, playgrounds and community settings, completing initial family visits, collaborating with educators and allied health professionals, coaching parents, supporting routines, documenting and billing sessions through an online system, attending team meetings, and taking part in mentoring and learning sessions.

The employer is also seeking people with at least 12 months of experience working with children aged 0 to 8 and their families, along with direct experience supporting children with disability. Strong communication, flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth are essential. A valid Australian driver licence, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and a Working with Children Check are also required. Availability for before and after school appointments is mandatory.

Rewards and support

The role comes with continuous learning supported by experienced early childhood and allied health clinicians. Benefits include an attractive salary package, vehicle options, laptop, phone, performance and loyalty bonuses, flexible scheduling, clinical and operational support, and access to a broad range of wellbeing and development perks.
