Role summary
This is a full-time remote role for a Key Account Manager, focused on overseeing and expanding relationships with strategic key accounts within the assigned territory or portfolio. The position is centered on growing revenue, improving profitability, and building long-term customer partnerships.
What you will do
The role calls for creating structured account plans, spotting fresh business opportunities, and strengthening overall sales performance. You will work closely with teams across marketing, medical, and supply chain to make sure customers receive smooth support and that brand plans are carried out consistently. Regular customer interaction is a key part of the job, including understanding needs, offering product and service assistance, and resolving concerns quickly. You will also keep track of market movement, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support planning and ongoing improvement.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate brings solid capability in account management and handling key accounts, along with strong analytical ability to work through sales numbers, market intelligence, and performance data. Experience in business planning, including account strategy, forecasting, and execution planning, is important. A strong customer service mindset, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, is expected. The role suits someone who can work independently in a remote setup, manage several priorities at once, and collaborate effectively with virtual teams. Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related sectors will be a major advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required, and higher qualifications are considered a plus.
