Role Overview
This opportunity is for a Junior Content Creator focused on men’s style at Esquire. The position entails a dynamic, hands-on approach blending social media, digital content, and video production. The incumbent will craft witty, engaging written material, lead video presentations, and design social-first strategies to captivate and expand Esquire UK’s audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the social media team to craft and implement an industry-leading, multi-platform social strategy for Esquire UK.
- Attend and represent Esquire at significant industry gatherings to capture essential moments and discussions.
- Enhance and grow Esquire’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and other platforms.
- Create and host distinctive video franchises, ranging from interviews to YouTube series.
- Edit video content to optimize performance on social channels.
- Work alongside Style and Site Directors to produce at least two to three original style features daily for esquire.com/uk.
- Leverage SEO insights to engage relevant topics and maximize online visibility.
- Contribute occasionally to Esquire’s print magazine via articles on style, fashion, watches, and grooming.
- Collaborate with commercial and creative teams on brand partnerships in men’s style, grooming, and watches.
- Champion Hearst UK’s values and serve as a dedicated ambassador.
- Undertake additional creative projects and responsibilities as opportunities arise.

- Experienced social media strategist skilled in executing comprehensive, cross-platform campaigns.
- Passionate menswear enthusiast with proven success increasing engagement across digital and social media outlets.
- Exceptional writer with in-depth knowledge of men's fashion, watches, grooming, and lifestyle trends.
- Comfortable and confident on camera, capable of developing engaging video content for social media and YouTube.
- Proficient in video editing with an eye for detail and optimizing for social media impact.
- Strong understanding of SEO, Google Discover, and digital publishing techniques.
- Creatively energetic with an abundance of ideas to invigorate men’s style and culture across various platforms.
- Well-networked within the industry, maintaining and growing valuable professional contacts.
- Organized, capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.

Compensation
Salary is approximately £30,000, negotiable based on candidate experience, expertise, and skills.
