Story Ninety-Four is a podcast and video production company based in Oxford that assists businesses in connecting with their audience through compelling video and podcast content. Our close-knit and innovative team is eager to welcome a motivated and ambitious videographer to join us.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will conceive, film, and edit captivating video content that drives engagement and achieves client objectives. Remaining informed about current trends and effective techniques across various platforms is essential. This position calls for creativity, a desire to learn, and the initiative to contribute fresh ideas while growing within the team.

Work Environment and Schedule

  • Work is partly remote with encouraged time both in the Oxford office and from home.
  • The office, situated on Oxford Business Park, doubles as our podcast studio and filming location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative concepts, storyboards, and creative approaches for video projects.
  • Produce high-quality videos for clients in both studio and on-location settings.
  • Organize, shoot, and edit videos that effectively capture audience attention and convert users, aligning with trends per channel.
  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, lead videographer, and podcast producer on video podcast projects.
  • Evaluate campaign performance data to identify top-performing creatives and apply insights to future productions.

Candidate Requirements

  • College or university degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of one year of video production experience, professional or otherwise.
  • Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or other non-linear editing software and a willingness to learn Final Cut Pro.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for building a video production career with Story Ninety-Four.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for commuting and location shoots.
  • Strong organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Capability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
