Junior Trader – Boutique Hedge Fund – 100% bonus potential

Role overview

A highly regarded, award-winning boutique hedge fund with several billion dollars in assets under management is looking for a trader to join its strong investment team. The fund operates across multiple strategies, and the person in this role will support senior traders on a cross-strategy basis.

The position is primarily focused on trade execution, but it also carries meaningful responsibility for risk oversight, portfolio monitoring, and data handling. In addition, the trader will regularly assist with project-based work for the trading desk and may also contribute to wider investment-team initiatives. While many of these projects will be tied to a specific book or strategy, there is also scope to help with broader automation efforts and improvements to trading infrastructure and processes.

Core duties

Day-to-day work will include placing trades, keeping track of orders and market activity, monitoring live positions, building daily portfolio risk views, and using modelling tools to support the portfolio management process.

Candidate profile

The firm is seeking someone with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in trading or risk. Strong academic credentials are essential, and advanced technical ability would be a clear advantage.

Compensation

The role offers an attractive base salary together with a performance bonus that can reach up to 100%.
