Job description
About the Role
Brillen ROTTLER GmbH & Co. KG invites you to join our team as a Junior Store Designer, where you will play an active role in shaping the newly established Expansion & Store Construction division. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed studies in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Retail Design and are eager to transform their ideas into tangible projects. Together, we develop modern store concepts—from initial ideas through to successful implementation.
Your Mission
- Develop innovative store and shop-fitting concepts collaboratively from conception to successful rollout.
- Create design, execution, and detailed plans as well as 3D visualizations and presentations that bring ideas to life.
- Use cutting-edge CAD tools and digital, including AI-supported, applications to efficiently generate and expand creative ideas.
- Support new building, remodeling, and expansion projects by working closely with project management, external partners, and craftspeople.
- Stay up to date on trends and advancements in retail design, materials, and store development to introduce fresh ideas into our projects.
- Contribute actively to evolving ROTTLER’s store concepts and design standards beyond mere implementation.
What We Are Looking For
- A completed degree in Retail Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- A keen creative sense for design, materials, colors, and contemporary retail environments, and a willingness to actively contribute ideas.
- Confidence in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or similar tools, with interest in embracing new technologies and AI applications in design and visualization.
- Initial hands-on experience through internships, working student roles, or compelling academic projects in retail design, interior architecture, or shopfitting.
- A structured working style, self-initiative, and enjoyment in collaboratively developing creative solutions as part of a team.
- A strong motivation to take responsibility, grow professionally, and help shape the future of our stores together.
Benefits
- More than just an entry-level job: become part of a newly formed division where your contributions influence the strategic direction of Expansion & Store Construction.
- See your ideas come to life as modern retail spaces through a guided journey towards project responsibility.
- Opportunities for professional growth via external trainings, certifications, and trade fair visits to enhance your expertise.
- Financial bonuses such as a health bonus, Edenred card, and company bicycle leasing (up to two bikes) plus special surprises.
- Work-life balance enhanced by six weeks of vacation and flexible home office options on select days.
- Modern workplace with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure to support optimal working conditions.
- Social events including summer parties, ROTTLER fairs, team events, and more to foster team spirit.
- Access to premium brands like Gucci and Prada as well as free personal hearing protection creation.
- Family-friendly benefits including discounts for relatives, special leave for child illness, and support from care coordinators.
