About the Role

Avondale Equities seeks a Junior Social and Brand Content Producer based in Los Angeles with hybrid work arrangements. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role focuses on hands-on creation, editing, publishing, and organizational support for content across luxury hospitality brands including Casaléna and Avondale Hospitality properties. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings and has a passion for content creation coupled with a strong understanding of high-end hospitality branding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form video content such as Instagram Reels and TikTok videos utilizing Adobe Premiere, InShot, or comparable editing software.
  • Develop compelling short videos with captivating hooks and appropriate pacing.
  • Extract engaging soundbites from interviews and voiceovers to craft dynamic story-centered edits.
  • Incorporate text overlays, captions, music, and transitions consistent with brand aesthetics.
  • Provide quick turnaround edits, including same-day event content.
  • Transform long-form footage into shorter video assets.
  • Conduct on-site filming at restaurants, nightlife venues, and event activations capturing brand-aligned photo and video content.
  • Follow shot lists provided by the Creative Director ensuring luxury hospitality visual standards in lighting, composition, and detail.
  • Design social media and promotional graphics using Canva, adapting assets for various platforms while maintaining cohesive brand visuals.
  • Draft and manage PR outreach emails to influencers, media, and partners; track communications and coordinate influencer visits and content approvals.
  • Schedule, format, and publish social media posts; assist with caption crafting consistent with brand tone; maintain content calendars; monitor engagement and prepare performance reports.
  • Create and distribute branded email newsletters through Mailchimp; update Squarespace website content ensuring consistency across digital channels.
  • Organize files and digital assets systematically in Google Drive, maintaining clear naming conventions and accessibility of photo and video archives categorized by date, event, and campaign.

Qualifications

  • Between two and four years of experience in content production or social media marketing.
  • Demonstrated portfolio featuring short-form video editing for platforms like Reels and TikTok.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Canva tools.
  • Comfortable filming using iPhone and DSLR cameras.
  • Experience within hospitality, restaurant, nightlife, or lifestyle sectors is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends to cover event activities as needed.
