Across locations in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich, over 550 specialists leverage marketing and technology expertise to increase brand relevance in today's fragmented digital landscape, optimize marketing efficiency, and accelerate business growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior SEO/GEO Manager (m/w/d) to support our Berlin team, with flexible options to work from Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, or Hamburg. This role involves assisting with analysis, planning, and implementation of SEO and GEO/AI-SEO strategies for both domestic and international clients. You will collaborate closely with experts in SEO, data, content, and technology while developing into a strategic consultant in organic search and generative visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in SEO and GEO/AI-SEO analyses, audits, and competitor benchmarking focusing on visibility, indexing, content structures, search intent, and performance in generative search and answer systems.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop actionable recommendations prioritizing initiatives by relevance, effort, and potential impact.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of on-page, content, and GEO roadmaps, coordinating closely with internal teams.
  • Monitor trends related to traditional search and emerging generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot.
  • Support preparing presentations, reports, workshops, and client meetings, learning to communicate complex SEO and GEO concepts clearly.
  • Utilize common SEO, analytics, and AI-SEO tools to translate data insights into optimization tactics.
  • Actively engage in internal knowledge-sharing sessions by contributing learnings from testing, research, and projects, and help develop new thematic areas.

Candidate Profile

  • Some professional experience in SEO, content, digital marketing, web analytics, or a related field, preferably from agency work, a digital company, or relevant internships/traineeships.
  • Strong foundational SEO knowledge, including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, internal linking, site architecture, and performance analysis.
  • Keen interest in GEO/AI-SEO as a promising future field, with motivation to understand brand, content, and website visibility in generative search and answer ecosystems.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SISTRIX, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, or Looker Studio; experience with AI-SEO tools (e.g., Peec AI, Otterly AI, Rankscale) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Systematic, data-driven working style with attention to detail and commitment to deriving actionable recommendations from analyses.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and motivated by ongoing developments in search, AI, and automation.
  • Strong communication skills, able to interact empathetically across diverse teams, and enjoy collaborative work.
  • Self-driven, responsible, and eager for personal and professional growth, with an ability to simplify complex subjects and an interest in eventually leading presentations, workshops, and client discussions.

What We Offer

  • An innovative, future-oriented domain at the crossroads of SEO, content, data, and generative AI.
  • An experienced team providing expertise and active support for your development.
  • Opportunities to take early responsibility for tasks and subprojects.
  • A culture that encourages curiosity, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • A clear career trajectory with the goal to empower you to independently manage more complex SEO and GEO projects and grow into a senior role.

Additional Information

  • We provide a hybrid working model, with flexibility for two mobile workdays weekly.
  • We foster an inclusive, respectful culture valuing diversity and tolerance, practiced daily.
  • Continuous professional development is promoted through an international and expanding learning platform.
  • Flexible arrangements such as part-time options and adjustable working hours are supported.
  • Well-being initiatives including team events, cultural activities, agency celebrations, and comprehensive support programs like Employee Assistance Program for professional and personal counseling.
  • We actively encourage applications from all candidates, including those who may not meet all listed criteria, and give preference to qualified applicants with disabilities.
