About the Opportunity
The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), known for its commitment to high-quality education and international collaborations, invites applications from enthusiastic individuals for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This role is part of a fixed-term research project within the School of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on evaluating the potential of Selective Laser Melting (SLM) fabricated and heat-treated Haynes 282 alloy under high temperature loading conditions.

Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants must hold a minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, accompanied by a valid GATE score. Preferred candidates will possess a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in the same fields along with a valid GATE score.
Age Limit: 28 years with relaxation up to 5 years applicable for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Compensation and Vacancy
- Stipend: Rs. 37,000 per month
