Job description
Overview
Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar is inviting applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) role under a TEXMiN-DST supported research project. The project focuses on finding a productive use for Bayer red mud as a supplementary cementitious material for producing low-carbon LC3 cement.
Project focus
The assignment is centered on sustainable construction materials, low-carbon cement systems, life cycle assessment, and AI-supported research methods. The opportunity may also support a PhD at NIT Jalandhar, subject to institute rules.
Eligibility
- Applicants should have a first-class M.Tech. or Master’s degree in a relevant Civil Engineering specialization.
- Candidates must have qualified GATE, UGC-NET, or CSIR-NET.
Fellowship
The fellowship is INR 37,000 per month, along with HRA as per project norms.
