Job description

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Junior Quality Control (QC) Analyst to contribute to testing activities and quality control processes within pharmaceutical or life sciences laboratories. This contractual, remote position caters especially to recent graduates eager to gain direct experience in analytical testing and compliance within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, intermediate samples, and final products.
  • Operate laboratory instruments including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
  • Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and established laboratory protocols.
  • Precisely record test outcomes and maintain comprehensive laboratory documentation.
  • Participate in activities such as method validation, calibration and qualification of equipment.
  • Assist with investigations into Out of Specification (OOS) or Out of Trend (OOT) results, conduct stability assessments, and help with environmental monitoring tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively across Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Research & Development teams.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or similar disciplines.
  • Experience ranging from none to two years; fresh graduates with internship or academic laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Fundamental understanding of analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ALCOA principles, and regulatory requirements like 21 CFR Part 11 is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in analysis, precise documentation, and effective communication.
