About the Role

SMG Studio, known for developing innovative and fun games like LEGO Party! Moving Out, Thumb Drift, and One More Line, is looking for a Junior QA Tester for a one-year fixed-term contract. The role offers flexible and project-based remote work, with the possibility to work from their offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, or Adelaide, contingent on having full Australian work rights.

Key Responsibilities

Perform test execution across multiple software applications and platforms.
Develop clear, comprehensive test cases in line with project specifications.
Identify and record bugs via JIRA, including reproduction steps and expected outcomes.
Work collaboratively with remote development teams to validate bug resolutions.
Adjust to varying project demands while maintaining thorough testing documentation.

Candidate Profile

Familiarity with fundamental software testing theories and practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Capable of working autonomously and managing time efficiently.
Experience using JIRA or comparable bug tracking tools.
