Junior Purchase Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Purchase Officer to join a prominent German engineering firm specializing in industrial refrigeration and cooling systems located in Dubai, UAE. The role offers a salary of up to AED 10,000 along with standard company benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment, and services from suppliers locally and internationally.
• Request and analyze quotations, conduct price negotiations, and generate purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and address any supply chain issues.
• Supervise inventory to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure all procurement operations comply with organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, warehouse, and project teams to fulfill operational needs.
• Keep precise and organized procurement records and documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 3 to 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience within the UAE market.
• Prior involvement in sectors such as industrial refrigeration, industrial machinery, HVAC, or heavy machinery is advantageous.
• Expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with ERP software and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Availability to join immediately is highly preferred.
• Indian nationals are especially encouraged to apply.
