Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to assist our Sales team by overseeing beauty packaging and turnkey development projects. This role suits individuals experienced in cosmetic packaging, product development, or project coordination who aspire to advance into project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives with managing active client programs and projects.
• Organize and track project timelines, deliverables, and development schedules.
• Maintain project status trackers and regularly communicate updates to internal teams and clients.
• Participate in client meetings and support follow-up activities.
• Help set and manage client expectations concerning timing, progress, and deliverables.
• Coordinate packaging development projects involving stock and customized components with suppliers and factory partners.
• Monitor tooling schedules, development milestones, lead times, and production readiness.
• Review development samples and manage customer sample submissions.
• Maintain detailed packaging specifications and technical documentation.
• Support turnkey product projects involving packaging, formulations, fillings, accessories, testing, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate formula submissions, compatibility testing, artwork approvals, and development milestones.
• Monitor alignment of packaging and formula timelines throughout project development.
• Help identify and resolve challenges to avoid launch delays.
• Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and pricing documents.
• Issue and oversee Purchase Orders and assist with freight estimates and supplier communications.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and customer files.
• Track project timelines and escalate any risks when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Operations, and Quality.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, factories, and internal stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for issues related to development, timing, quality, and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in beauty packaging, cosmetic product development, project management, or coordination roles.
• Prior experience in turnkey beauty programs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cosmetic packaging components, timelines, and supplier management.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Experience supporting Sales teams and client-facing projects is an advantage.
