About the Role
jangled nerves – communication architects is looking for a Junior Project Manager for Media and Communication to join the Stuttgart team as soon as possible. The company has over 25 years of experience delivering international work at the intersection of physical and digital experiences, including spatial media, communication concepts, and production services.
The organisation works for museums, exhibitions, showrooms, visitor centres, trade fairs, and events, combining strategic consulting, concept development, and design with planning for temporary structures, museum design, exhibition architecture, and in-house production for film, media, and interactive content.
What You’ll Do
You will manage a broad set of media projects from the first idea through to final handover. Working alongside the creative and interdisciplinary teams, you will keep workflows aligned so each project stage connects smoothly with the next.
Your work will include coordination across film editing, 2D and 3D animation, audio production, photography, filming, and programming. You will also handle schedules, resource planning, and financial oversight, helping ensure projects are delivered successfully.
In addition, you will represent the team confidently with national and international clients and support clear communication, decisions, and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a degree in media management, advertising, communication, or a comparable discipline. Prior experience in an agency or film production environment is expected, along with solid proficiency in MS Office and Keynote.
You should be organised, practical in your approach, and able to stay on top of complex tasks with ease. Strong presentation skills and fluent communication in both German and English are important. Some early exposure to film production, animation, or programming is preferred, and there should be a willingness to build on that knowledge further.
