Role overview

This is a full-time Junior Photographer position supporting the internal creative team with polished visual content for digital and print channels. The role involves product photography, retouching, and color correction while helping uphold the visual standards of a luxury brand. A sharp eye for design, color, composition, and detail is important, along with strong ability in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop. Interest in photography, interiors, textiles, and craftsmanship-led products is highly valued.

Key duties

  • Support product shoots for websites, e-commerce, and other digital uses.
  • Assist with styled imagery for social media, campaigns, and promotional materials, especially in the interior design and luxury lifestyle space.
  • Help prepare the studio, including lighting, surfaces, styling, and shoot setup.
  • Work with the lead photographer to create consistent, brand-aligned imagery.
  • Adjust and color-correct product photos to preserve accurate appearance and material quality.
  • Retouch images for both digital and print applications.
  • Keep the photo archive and digital asset library structured and up to date.
  • Make sure files are correctly named, formatted, and handed off according to workflow standards.
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams on shoots, production support, and additional assigned projects.
  • Keep the studio organized and equipment ready for use.
  • Take part in occasional local location shoots across the Los Angeles area.

Requirements

  • A degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Design, or a similar field is preferred, but equivalent hands-on experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
  • A portfolio that shows photography and retouching ability, including before-and-after examples.
  • Prior exposure to, or strong interest in, interior design, luxury goods, textiles, materials, or craftsmanship-focused brands is a plus.
  • Good understanding of photography basics, including lighting, composition, and color accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Basic experience in image retouching and digital asset management.
  • Strong file organization skills and familiarity with production workflows.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to technical specifications.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative setting.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.
  • A cooperative, team-oriented approach with openness to learning and receiving direction.
  • Flexibility to support different creative tasks as needed.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods during shoots and studio production.
  • Occasional local travel within the Los Angeles area for on-location shoots.
  • Ability to safely handle photography gear, props, and studio materials.
