Role overview
12100 Collective is a newly launched growth marketing agency headquartered in New York City. Founded by former Meta growth team members, the agency works with clients generating more than $100M in annual revenue across multiple industries. The team is focused on combining rigorous data analysis with strong creative to drive performance.
This is a practical, execution-heavy position for a paid search marketer who wants to build expertise under experienced growth operators and advance quickly. You will manage, improve, and grow paid search programs for a varied client portfolio that includes both eCommerce brands and B2B lead generation accounts. The role reports to a Senior Growth Marketer and involves close collaboration with paid social, marketing operations, and growth analytics teammates.
Key responsibilities
You will be expected to run day-to-day paid search work across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with guidance from a senior lead. The position includes hands-on campaign building, account optimization, and ongoing performance management.
- Create, launch, and refine paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Manage account operations such as keyword research, bidding, budget pacing, negative keyword control, ad copy, extensions, and search term analysis.
- Prepare client-facing materials including performance updates, optimization records, and account recaps.
- Track channel performance, identify unusual trends, and raise early alerts when something needs review.
- Assist with conversion tracking quality checks and verify that conversion events are recording properly.
- Review campaigns before launch to confirm correct targeting, budgets, creative, links, and tracking setup.
- Continue expanding your paid search knowledge and take on more strategic ownership over time.
Requirements
The ideal candidate already has real paid search experience and can work independently on live campaigns, not only report on results.
- 1–3+ years of direct paid search experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including a record of improving conversion-driven campaigns.
- Experience managing and optimizing active accounts rather than only producing reports.
- Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets to work with performance data.
- Understanding of conversion tracking basics, including Google Ads conversions, GA4, and GTM fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail, solid organization, and clear written communication.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop into a more strategic contributor.
Preferred experience
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications.
- Exposure to paid social, Shopify-based eCommerce accounts, or lead generation campaigns.
- Experience with Looker Studio reporting and/or introductory SQL.
- Familiarity with Linear, Notion, Google Drive, and Slack.
- Background in an agency or startup environment.
