Role Overview
This position is a starting-point role for someone who already understands the basics of email or digital marketing and wants to build stronger expertise in lifecycle campaigns, automation, and performance-led optimization. You will partner closely with the Director of Marketing and gain hands-on experience with tools such as Twilio and SendGrid while helping run campaigns that support customer acquisition and retention.

What You Will Do
You will support campaign execution, testing, reporting, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. The role combines hands-on production work with learning opportunities across lifecycle marketing operations.
Campaign Execution and Support
- Help build, schedule, review, and launch email and SMS campaigns in Twilio and SendGrid under senior guidance.
- Support the setup and quality-checking of automated lifecycle journeys such as onboarding, re-engagement, retention, and similar flows.
- Assist with audience lists, segmentation rules, suppression files, and workflow records.
- Prepare and format email templates together with the design team.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, internal handoffs, and marketing calendars so launches stay on track.
- Keep campaign assets, templates, and documentation well organized.
Testing and Performance Tracking
- Assist in A/B test setup and record the outcomes for subject lines, calls to action, and content variations.
- Support testing, tracking, and reporting for both email and SMS activity.
- Build and update reports covering open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and unsubscribes.
- Look for patterns in campaign results and raise ideas for improvement and process refinement.
Compliance and Operations
- Help make sure campaigns follow relevant rules and regulations, including CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
- Assist with list hygiene tasks such as handling bounces, opt-outs, and suppression lists.
- Maintain records of workflows, platform settings, operational steps, and process guides.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in marketing operations and internal workflows.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and other senior team members to align campaign priorities and goals.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure campaigns are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.
- Participate in team meetings, share ideas, and ask questions proactively.
Requirements
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or a similar field; internships and relevant coursework are also considered.
- Basic understanding of email marketing fundamentals such as deliverability, segmentation, open rates, and click-through rates.
- Comfort working with data and digital tools, including dashboards and spreadsheets.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Interest in learning marketing platforms and growing into a more technical marketing role.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Spanish is a strong advantage.
Preferred Background
- Hands-on exposure to an email platform such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, SendGrid, or a similar tool.
- Experience or familiarity with SMS marketing.
- Understanding of A/B testing basics.
- Basic HTML knowledge or a willingness to learn email templating.
- Education or coursework in marketing, communications, business, or a related subject.
- Exposure to digital, tech, or startup environments.
Compensation
The role offers a salary of USD 800–1200 per month.
Additional Information
This is a full-time remote role, with flexibility for hybrid work as well. It is intended for someone at an early career stage who wants to build practical expertise in lifecycle marketing and campaign operations.
