Role Overview
This full-time position is located at the Lusaka facility and requires on-site presence. The Logistics and Warehouse Officer will manage everyday warehouse tasks including receipt, inspection, and storage of materials and finished goods. Responsibilities encompass preparing and packaging orders for shipment, handling loading and unloading tasks, and maintaining precise inventory through frequent stock audits. Collaboration with production and operations teams, upkeep of clean and safe working conditions, and adherence to organizational policies and safety guidelines form essential parts of the role.
Key Duties
- Receiving stock and raw materials.
- Dispatching stock and raw materials.
- Conducting stock-taking and inventory management.
- Compiling reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting fleet management activities.
- Operating forklifts is advantageous.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary qualification in supply chain management or related discipline.
- Between one and two years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, stock control, or a similar sector.
- Experience in receiving, dispatching, picking, and stock-taking preferred.
- Basic proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong numerical aptitude and record-keeping capability.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Holding a valid driver's license is beneficial.
