Job description
About the company
The Koller Group is an internationally active technology company with more than 1,200 employees worldwide. Its headquarters are located in the heart of Bavaria. The company develops and manufactures tools, PUR honeycomb sandwich panels, lightweight construction systems, installation-ready components, and injection-moulded parts in small and large series, mainly for the automotive industry.
Koller covers the complete value chain for its customers worldwide — from the initial concept and component development through to industrialisation and serial production.
All tools, systems, inspection gauges, and production equipment are custom-built in its own toolmaking department to match specific requirements, combined with the company’s specialised expertise. Series parts are produced globally at certified production sites.
Role overview
The company is looking for a Junior Konstrukteur (m/w/d) to strengthen the team. The role is aimed at candidates with a technical background who want to grow further in design and construction work.
What you will do
- Help design injection mould tools for customers, especially in the automotive sector
- Support the creation and revision of 3D models and technical drawings
- Review and process customer data according to specifications
- Assist in developing design solutions and improvement ideas
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Support calculations and project preparation
Your background
Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship — preferably as a tool mechanic (m/w/d) or in another metalworking trade — and then completed further training as a technician (m/w/d) or industrial master (m/w/d).
You should already have some initial experience with CAD software, for example CATIA V5.
Alternatively, candidates with several years of experience as a team lead/group leader (m/w/d) in toolmaking who want to move into design are also a fit.
What the job offers
You can expect an innovative working environment, a positive workplace culture, and a motivated team. The role comes with performance-based pay, above-average social benefits, and the chance of a long-term collaboration. If needed, your commute may be supported with a leased company e-bike.
Additional information
This role is focused on supporting the design of injection moulding tools for customers in the automotive industry and contributing to the wider development and preparation process.
