Job description

About the role

DO & CO is a globally recognized premium hospitality and aviation company with an international footprint and a strong reputation for luxury and high standards. Based in the headquarters environment, this role offers the chance to build a career across finance, IT, logistics, procurement, graphic design, HR, and related functions while contributing to high-impact projects.

The Junior Application Analyst position is designed as an entry point into the analysis, improvement, and ongoing development of the company-wide IT and application landscape. You will gain exposure to business processes in areas such as system catering, logistics, purchasing, and administration, and gradually take on your own responsibilities. The role develops into an interface position between enterprise architecture, business processes, and operational IT support.

What you will do

  • Learn the day-to-day operations of departments such as logistics, purchasing, and accounting, and understand their processes and pain points.
  • Review workflows and spot opportunities to improve them through practical IT solutions.
  • Document requirements and process details clearly so they can be handed over to the IT team.
  • Help support and further develop business applications, especially within Microsoft Navision / Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Assist with the rollout of new IT solutions, from gathering requirements through testing and into live operation.
  • Support ongoing operations, including second-level support, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting for applications.
  • Use and expand SQL skills for data analysis, issue diagnosis, and system integration.
  • Contribute to IT projects by coordinating with business teams, internal IT colleagues, and external partners, while gradually handling your own work packages.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, IT management, or a similar qualification such as application development/system integration specialist, IT systems sales specialist, Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or Bachelor’s in Business Informatics.
  • Initial practical exposure through internships, working student roles, thesis projects, or early professional experience in roles such as Junior IT Application Manager, ERP Consultant, IT Support Specialist, Application Support Analyst, Business Application Specialist, or within ERP/CRM environments is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in ERP systems, business processes, digitalization, cloud technologies, and catering/food-service operations, along with the ability to quickly grasp operational workflows.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems and first contact with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics NAV / Navision, or Business Central; these skills are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, Microsoft 365, or SharePoint, or the willingness to develop SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Structured, analytical, and curious working style with a strong eagerness to learn and enjoyment of both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly and work confidently with business teams, IT groups, and external partners.
  • Very good German and English skills at a minimum C1 level.

Perks and benefits

  • Salary aligned with your qualifications and expertise.
  • Employee discounts at various retailers.
  • Excellent access to public transportation.
  • Free meals on site.
  • Access to internal training opportunities to expand your skills.
  • Modern leisure offerings with a strong focus on work-life balance.
  • A company culture where ideas can have real impact.
  • Genuine career growth opportunities both within Germany and internationally.
  • The opportunity to work with and represent one of the most innovative names in global gourmet entertainment.
