Position Overview
The Junior Creative Designer plays an important part on the in-house creative team, helping shape brand narratives through engaging visual work for both digital and print media. This opportunity is well suited to a driven designer who pays close attention to detail, has a strong sense of layout and typography, and wants to build experience in a dynamic environment with multiple brands.
Partnering with creative and marketing colleagues, this role supports the creation of campaigns, branded collateral, social content, and internal communication pieces. It also offers hands-on exposure to design systems, production workflows, and creative operations. Beyond everyday design support, the position includes ownership of smaller marketing programs and coordination tasks, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys both creative execution and project follow-through.
Creative Execution
- Develop visual assets for a range of print and digital uses, such as signage, social posts, email graphics, presentations, flyers, and internal messages.
- Resize and adapt artwork for different formats and channels while keeping visuals aligned with brand standards across several brands.
- Work with teammates across functions to collect input, apply revisions, and deliver projects by the required deadlines.
- Set up files for production, keep artwork organized, and maintain asset libraries so the creative process stays efficient.
- Keep up with design trends and brand guidelines to strengthen creative quality and support effective visual storytelling.
Program Support
- Help plan and execute small marketing and operational initiatives, including fundraising efforts, regional campaign activations, and branded giveaway or swag projects.
- Track schedules, logistics, and deliverables to ensure assigned programs run smoothly.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to monitor progress and share updates.
- Assist with basic reporting and documentation of program results so the team can review performance and make improvements.
Education And Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a creative, design, or production-focused role, with a track record of delivering quality work across digital and print formats.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with the ability to produce polished assets that stay on brand.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, and project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or Trello.
- Excellent organizational ability and the flexibility to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, deadline-heavy setting.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas, incorporating feedback, and working effectively with others.
- High attention to detail and quality standards to ensure creative output is accurate and production-ready.
- A collaborative, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new tools, methods, and workflows.
