Role overview
The business is expanding its range, and this opening is suited to a junior designer who wants to develop a career in packaging, branding, and AI-assisted visual creation. You will collaborate with the creative team to produce packaging, product visuals, mockups, and marketing creative for a growing portfolio of fitness and recovery products.
The position is centred on Adobe Illustrator for print production work and Adobe Photoshop for image editing, compositing, and AI-supported image generation.
This is an onsite full-time position from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Create and refresh retail packaging for the company’s product line.
- Develop artwork that is precise and ready for print production.
- Produce product mockups and presentation visuals for internal and external use.
- Edit, retouch, and composite product and lifestyle images in Photoshop.
- Use Photoshop’s Generative AI features and other AI tools to create polished imagery.
- Craft detailed prompts to generate believable product environments and marketing visuals.
- Support brand consistency across packaging and marketing materials.
- Prepare files in line with printer specifications and prepress standards.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to complete creative work on schedule.
Required background and skills
- Confident use of Adobe Illustrator.
- Confident use of Adobe Photoshop.
- Practical understanding of packaging artwork and print production workflows.
- Familiarity with AI image-generation tools such as Higgsfield AI, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to write effective prompts for commercial-quality imagery.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Good file organisation and efficient working habits.
- Sound knowledge of typography, layout, colour, and branding.
- Clear communication and strong time-management ability.
- A portfolio showcasing graphic design work.
Bonus experience
- Creating realistic product mockups.
- Using Photoshop Generative Fill.
- Photography or photo-retouching experience.
- Designing packaging for consumer products.
