Job description
About the Company
Skyve is an expanding e-commerce business that develops brands for health, wellness, and lifestyle categories, with a strong focus on Amazon. Its core product range includes food supplements and “better for you” foods. The team is small, driven, and focused on delivering a high-quality brand and design experience.
Role Overview
This opportunity is for a junior designer who is extremely detail-oriented and takes pride in precise, polished work. The role involves refining rough concepts, simple wireframes, and existing brand guidelines into production-ready visuals for both digital and print use. If you immediately notice spacing issues, inconsistent alignment, or typography that feels off, and you enjoy making layouts clean and exact, this role is a strong fit.
Key Work Areas
- Convert wireframes and creative direction into Amazon listing graphics and advertising creative.
- Finish, adapt, and keep packaging artwork up to date across several brands and product formats such as powders, capsules, pouches, and bottles.
- Preserve consistency across Amazon listing templates and broader design systems.
- Create accurate print-ready files, including handling dielines and layered artwork when possible.
- Support A+ Content, digital advertising visuals, and other branded design assets as required.
What the Company Is Looking For
- A sharp eye for layout, spacing, alignment, and font use.
- Practical experience working in Canva, especially for template-driven Amazon design workflows.
- Good command of Adobe Illustrator, including print preparation and packaging files.
- Familiarity with Midjourney or other AI-based design tools is helpful but not mandatory.
- Strong file and asset management habits, with the ability to keep libraries, fonts, and design resources organized.
- The ability to follow direction, work independently, and deliver on schedule without constant supervision.
- A proactive mindset and an interest in refining templates, cleaning up messy assets, and perfecting every visual detail.
Benefits
- Flexible working hours that can be arranged around studies.
- Remote work from any location.
- Opportunity to strengthen a portfolio with live commercial projects.
- Hands-on experience in e-commerce-focused design work.
- Fair compensation with the possibility of an ongoing long-term collaboration.
- Chance to learn more about online retail and product marketing.
Application Instructions
Applicants are asked to complete the cover letter carefully, as incomplete submissions will not be considered. The cover letter should include the design detail that you usually notice but others often miss. Candidates should also provide 1 to 2 portfolio examples, shared through a Google Drive folder link or a similar method, that best show attention to layout, spacing, alignment, and typography. A brief explanation is required describing what was improved to make the work more pixel-perfect; a Loom video link is preferred, though written text is acceptable. If available, a before version of the work may also be shared. Applicants must also mention their target hourly rate.
Additional Information
This is a long-term freelance/contract opportunity based with a remote working arrangement. The role is open to candidates who value precision, clean visual systems, and commercial e-commerce design execution. Compensation is described as fair rates, with the potential for an extended working relationship.
