Role Overview

In the role of Junior Graphic Designer, you will assist the design team with producing visual content that supports branding initiatives, marketing efforts, websites, and print materials. Daily tasks involve designing logos and brand elements, crafting layouts suitable for digital and printed media, prepping artwork for production, and ensuring alignment with client brand standards. You will work closely with senior designers, account managers, and clients to refine ideas, respond effectively to feedback, and deliver polished creative outputs within deadlines. This position is initially part-time and based on-site in Kidderminster, requiring consistent in-person collaboration with the studio team.

Qualification Requirements

  • Solid foundational knowledge in Graphic Design and visual communication, capable of transforming ideas into compelling visuals.
  • Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding, skilled at creating and adjusting brand identities across multiple platforms.
  • Good command of Typography principles, focusing on hierarchy, clarity, and style coherence with brand guidelines.
  • Experience using key design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
  • A portfolio showcasing creativity, layout expertise, and meticulousness across both digital and print projects.
  • Ability to follow direction, assimilate feedback, and collaborate effectively within a dynamic agency setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at juggling various projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Educational background or formal training in Graphic Design or related disciplines; prior agency or internship experience is beneficial.
