Position overview
SCIO Automation is looking for a Junior Financial Group Controller to join its team in Frankenthal (Pfalz), Germany. This is a full-time, on-site role with an immediate start.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly consolidated group reporting, including analysis, consistency checks, and the development of concrete recommendations for action.
- Play an active role in the budgeting cycle and contribute to planning and controlling activities.
- Further improve the existing reporting landscape and help develop controlling systems and processes, especially in a BI environment.
- Act as a key business partner for the operating subsidiaries and their management teams.
- Support the integration of newly acquired subsidiaries into the SCIO group system landscape.
- Introduce a multi-stage contribution margin calculation at group level and transition reporting to the cost of sales method.
What we are looking for
- A completed degree in economics or a related field, ideally with a focus on controlling, finance, business informatics, or accounting.
- Initial practical exposure to controlling, for example through internships, working student roles, or an early career position, is an advantage.
- Strong interest in figures, processes, and analysis, together with a desire to deepen controlling expertise.
- A solid understanding of business management concepts; first experience with HGB or IFRS is a plus.
- A structured working style, analytical thinking, and enthusiasm for learning new topics.
- Personal initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to tasks.
