A growing consulting firm in Midtown Manhattan is hiring a Junior Executive Assistant to the CEO. This is a strong opportunity for a candidate with experience in finance or other professional services who wants to develop in a fast-moving, polished corporate setting.
The role requires someone who is highly organized, composed, and able to juggle changing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment. You will provide daily administrative support to the CEO and help keep executive and office workflows running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Keep the CEO’s schedule organized by arranging meetings, calls, and appointments.
- Arrange domestic travel, including itineraries, transport, and related logistics.
- Draft, submit, and monitor expense reports.
- Help prepare for meetings by organizing agendas, materials, follow-up items, and notes when needed.
- Act as a communication link for both internal teams and outside contacts.
- Manage confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Provide support for everyday office operations and administrative initiatives.
- Coordinate client-facing scheduling and related tasks in a professional, service-focused way.
- Respond quickly to changing priorities and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 1–3+ years of administrative or executive support experience in the finance sector.
- Background in finance, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, consulting, or a similar professional services environment is required.
- Strong ability to manage calendars, coordinate schedules, and stay organized.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Comfort working under pressure while handling several priorities at once.
- Professional presentation, discretion, and a polished approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career as an Executive Assistant.
Compensation and work schedule
The annual base salary is $85,000 to $100,000, with bonus eligibility depending on experience.
The position is based in New York, NY (Midtown) and follows a Monday through Friday schedule with five in-office days each week.
