Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from various perspectives including design firms, construction contractors, and project management firms under expert supervision.
• Oversee contract lifecycle administration, beginning from pre-bid through execution phases.
• Prepare timely legal and contractual documents such as Requests for Proposal (RFP), tender packages, and other required paperwork.
• Conduct pre-award activities including scheduling, advertising tenders, participating in meetings, bid evaluation, and negotiation.
• Provide project-level contractual advice, supporting strategies for contract pre-award negotiations.
• Administer construction contracts, ensuring milestone tracking, timely notifications, and payment coordination.
• Draft, review, and monitor all contractual correspondences.
• Verify and maintain required insurance and guarantees.
• Manage contract change processes: drafting reviews of change orders, claims, back charges, penalties, and defend against claims.
• Prepare and maintain notices, risk registers, claims, and compensation event logs.
• Coordinate with technical, finance, legal teams, clients to prevent or resolve disputes.
• Assist in reviewing claims and providing contractual guidance to engineering teams.
• Draft commercial terms for design, engineering, and construction services for project director and client approval.
• Support contract administration including compliance monitoring, contract changes, variation orders, and close-out procedures.
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of all contractual procedures and assist with various contractual matters.
• Analyze contractual implications of change orders with estimation and project control teams.
• Maintain Engineer's instructions, variation orders, and claim logs.
• Conform to quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health standards and policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
• Strong command of both written and verbal English
