Role overview
The Junior Digital Marketing Analyst will support the team in planning and improving digital campaigns by reviewing performance data, trends, and campaign results. This role also involves research into the market, competitors, and customers so the agency can make informed recommendations for client work. The position requires working knowledge of analytics, digital and social channels, and organic/SEO performance, along with reporting and analysis skills to support data-led business decisions within the Research & Insights team.
The work will include using data to support new business pitches, shape strategy, inform decisions, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative campaign outcomes. Insights from this role will help guide the direction and performance of future initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Use external tools to support research, analytics, and social listening activities.
- Turn findings into practical, data-backed suggestions for existing and future client projects.
- Define KPIs that align with client objectives and establish performance benchmarks for campaign success.
- Work with different agency teams to build and review results for digital marketing initiatives.
- Track web analytics platforms and identify meaningful performance patterns.
- Support the setup and improvement of analytics tracking systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital research, analytics, or a related data analysis role.
- Strong attention to detail, with good organization and prioritization abilities.
- Experience reviewing data, studying market trends, and presenting recommendations clearly.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and Facebook Insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior exposure to digital marketing channels and experience with social media platforms is preferred.
